Major new software tool launches are planned in the coming months.

F1000 is rapidly expanding from publishing services into a collection of software tools for scientists to discover, organize, discuss - and publish - research. F1000, and our industry, is at a fascinating and important point of change, and I look forward to adding Daniel's creative drive and leadership to our team."
Daniel commented: "F1000 is at the centre of a disruptive storm in science information that touches so many core themes of technology and change. It is a tremendous honour to be entrusted with steering this valuable franchise to the next level of achievement."
