The new warranty conditions specify that the customer has seven days from receipt of the product to ensure that the product is not missing, damaged or defective an any way. If irregularity is discovered, it is the responsibility of the consumer to inform the distributor providing the products within the specified timeframe so that replacement or repair can be provided.

During the manufacturer warranty, the manufacturer guarantees that the printer will have no manufacturing or functioning defect during the period. If the customer discovers a defect, the customer is required to provide a copy of the invoice and proof that the maintenance recommendations have been followed throughout the timeframe the printer has been in service to receive repair, replacement or reimbursement.

To receive compensation from Evolis in the form of reimbursement or repair, the customer needs to be aware of and follow the Evolis determined terms and procedures for a valid warranty claim. Evolis may choose to repair the printer if it is determined that the repair can not be completed by the customer or a third party.

The warranty for each printer is based on the length the printer has been placed in service, the number of cards that have been printed and that the compulsory cleaning requirements based on that printer have been met. The use of non-OEM print ribbons and inappropriate cards may void the manufacturer warranty. The warranty is also void if the printer is returned in packaging that is not the original manufacturer packaging or if the printer has been damaged by an act of God or by accidents such as spills or overheating.

If the warranty is not able to be extended to the printer based on lack of care, lack of invoice documentation or other reason, Evolis will provide repair based upon a repair charge that will be provided to the customer. The printer will be repaired upon approval and the repair and shipping costs will be the liability of the customer.

The id card printer warranty for the Tattoo2 is 2 years from the date of purchase. The maximum number of cards that can be printed is unlimited for the printer to remain under the covered warranty. The printer must be cleaned every 500 printed cards.

The printer warranty for the Pebble4 is 3 years from the date of purchase. The maximum number of cards that can be printed is unlimited for the printer to remain covered under the warranty. The printer must be cleanined every 1200 cards.

The Dualys3 printer warranty is 3 years from the date of purchase. An unlimited number of cards can be printed and the printer must be cleaned every 1200 cards.

The Quantum printer warranty is 1 year. A maximum of 500,000 cards can be printed under warranty while the printer must be cleaned every 1600 cards.

The Securion printer warranty is 2 years. A maximum of 100,000 cards can be printed under warranty while the printer must be cleaned every 1000 cards.
