'Event-full' Fernatics launches low-cost, group travel opportunity for Kiwi sports and events fans

Fernatics, a new New Zealand-based online hub and booking source for sports and events packages has been launched this week.

Good news for the Kiwi travel, sports and events community. Fernatics, a new online hub and booking source for sports and events packages has been launched this week.

A division of the Williment Travel Group, Fernatics caters for both individual and group travel packages offering low-cost accommodation, flights and match tickets, or a combination of the above, for five 2010 All Blacks clashes as well as the 2010 NRL Grand Final.

Official Rugby packages on offer are supplied by All Blacks Travel and include the two Bledisloe Cup matches in Christchurch on 07 August and in Sydney on 11 September.

Packages for Investec Tri-Nations matches against South Africa in Auckland on 10 July, the Springboks again in Wellington on 17 July and versus the Wallabies in Christchurch on 07 August are also available.

The NRL Grand Final is scheduled for 03 October 2010.

Fernatics broad product offering extends past union and league.

The company also offers packages to a variety of other sports and special interest events with new product being released on the company's website regularly.

Full information and all the company's latest product offerings can be found at www.fernatics.co.nz .

Most packages offer a range of single, twin, triple and quad occupancy at a variety of good quality tourist accommodation in each featured match venue or event location.

Launching the new brand Fernatics managing director Steve Pirie said the whole purpose of the company was to build on the existing network of NZ-based communities comprising Kiwis and their mates who like to combine travel with attendance at sports and special interest events.

"Our aim is for Fernatics to provide services and products for fanatical Kiwis and their mates, making it easy and affordable to experience matches and events via easy to book travel packages that provide value and choice," he said.

"We found that there was a lack of low cost options for Kiwis looking to get to some of these events.

"Our packages have been designed to provide the basics - tickets, flights and accommodation or a combination of the above - so fit the low cost bill perfectly.

"But if people want to upgrade, we offer that option too. It's all about choice."

Full details of all packages, the 'Ambassador' and 'Aspiring Kiwis' programs are readily available on the Fernatics website located at www.fernatics.co.nz.
