Event Benefitting Arkansas Children's Hospital to Be Held This August
2017 Will Golf 4 Kids & Color of Hope Gala Event Taking Place August 3 and 4
BENTONVILLE, Ark., July 20, 2017 (Newswire.com) - The 2017 Will Golf 4 Kids & Color of Hope Gala Event benefitting Arkansas Children's Hospital Northwest will be held this coming month. The golf tournament will begin at 6 a.m. on Aug. 3 and Aug. 4 at Kingswood Golf Course and Bella Vista Country Club. The Color of Hope Gala will be at 6 p.m. on Aug. 4 at the John Q. Hammons Center.
The 2016 Will Golf 4 Kids & Color of Hope Gala Event included 1100 golfers, 1600 gala attendees at 180 volunteers.
Will Golf 4 Kids and the Color of Hope Gala raise funds to support the mission of Arkansas Children's Northwest, according to the event’s website. The Will Golf 4 Kids tournament was established by Walmart associates and Walmart/Sam's Club in 1993 and has contributed over 15 million dollars to Arkansas Children's.
Volunteer leaders for Will Golf 4 Kids and the Color of Hope Gala have committed 5 million dollars to the construction of Arkansas Children's Northwest, according to the event's website. In 2018, Arkansas Children's Northwest will open a freestanding children's hospital in Springdale, Arkansas to advance pediatric healthcare in the region and provide care close to home for the more than 200,000 children.
