Eve of Congressional Black Caucus Event Offers Obama's Agenda of Creative Expression
Online, August 9, 2010 (Newswire.com) - (WASHINGTON, DC - September 14, 2010) Walk the Red Carpet at this year's annual Reception & Fundraiser sponsored by the Coalition for African Americans in the Performing Arts (CAAPA) http:///www.4caapa.org, as they recognize the 40th Annual Legislative Conference and invites arts lovers and politicos to support African American Classical Musicians, Visual Artists and Poets at a showcase entitled "Melody of Art". The event takes place on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm at Bobby McKey's, 172 Fleet Street, National Harbor, Maryland, 10 minutes south of Washington, DC, 1 block from the Gaylord Hotel.
The free business attire evening also includes a cash bar featuring CAAPA's signature drink, the "Operatini" which, when ordered, benefits the coalition in support of African American classical musicians.
