Evacusafe to Provide Evacuation Chairs for Ryder Cup 2014
UK, September 16, 2014 (Newswire.com) - This week Evacusafe are proud to announce they have been chosen as the official provider of Evacuation Chairs for the 2014 Ryder Cup. Universally recognised as the greatest tournament in match play golf, this year’s Ryder Cup takes place at the superb Gleneagles Hotel in Perthshire, Scotland between 26 and 28 September. This is the second time the tournament has taken place in Scotland since it was established in 1927.
The Ryder Cup’s requirement is for 18 chairs to cover any potential emergency evacuation in any of its multiple locations that will be utilised during the competition. These include the world famous hotel, lodge and spa to the many temporary structures erected for hospitality, administration and the world media.

The first official Ryder Cup took place at Worcester Country Club, in Massachusetts USA. Taking place every two years, the competition sees teams of professional golfers from Europe and the United States competing against each other over a three day period, with the venue alternating between golf courses in Europe and the USA.
