Evacusafe Announce New Business Partner For Canada & North America
Online, February 4, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Evacusafe are proud to announce a brand new business partnership which will facilitate their international presence even further, encompassing Canada and the USA, having signed a new distribution agreement with Rescue 7. Based in Toronto, Rescue 7 already provide a range of health & safety services and training courses throughout Canada and the USA and have a fantastic reputation for doing so, having delivered training to over 8,000 businesses and in excess of 250,000 people.
The new partnership is the result of a recent expedition to the USA by Paul Mitchell, Director of Evacusafe, to scout for potential high calibre business partners.
As well as selling, distributing and servicing Evacusafe's products, Rescue 7 will also become certified to deliver training to their US customers. Mr Mitchell is currently visiting Toronto and Chicago in order to deliver an intensive training program for Rescue 7 and their extensive business partner/dealership network.
Mr Mitchell said "This is a fantastic opportunity for Evacusafe as the Canadian and North American market is absolutely huge. My role this week is to provide the knowledge to ensure that the training delivered throughout Canada and the States is always at the high standard that's come to be expected of Evacusafe. Since our training is approved by RoSPA and the IIRSM, it's imperative that we ensure the continuity of quality of our training course delivery and course materials".
"During the first week of February, I will be instructing a minimum of 30 personnel on how to effectively deliver our practical hands-on evacuation chair training courses and I have every confidence in the team at Rescue 7 as they're the nationally recognised health and safety training company in that part of the World".
Before the new agreement was signed, however, Evacusafe had to make sure that their evacuation chair is suitable for the American market. Their top-selling model, the Excel Evacuation Chair, was put through some stringent re-certification tests and sailed through with flying colours, with the end result being an officially certified increased load capacity from 160Kg to 182Kg. The tests were carried out by CASS Industries, an independent testing laboratory, whose comprehensive testing procedures found that there was no need to make any modifications whatsoever to the design or build of the chair in order to carry the additional weight, making the chair more suitable to the American market.
Full details of the Evacusafe range of evacuation equipment is available online at www.evacusafe.net and will also be available on the Rescue 7 website shortly.
