A local Emergency Room is now in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield Health Insurance
KATY, Texas, March 12, 2020 (Newswire.com) - Katy families can rest a bit easier now that ER Katy, a 24-hour, “low-wait” emergency room in the heart of Katy, is now in-network with Blue Cross & Blue Shield Insurance (BCBS). Company leadership decided to add BCBS as an in-network provider to reduce the cost of emergency room visits for Katy families.
“By going in-network, BCBS patients will have a much lower portion to pay for their ER bills. In most cases, ER co-pays/co-insurance and deductibles are lower when using in-network providers. Also, once deductibles/co-pays/co-insurance are met, the patient will receive no balance bills,” says Jason Brown, Medical Director at ER Katy.
