MBL Intl Group Announces That Empire's Tobias Truvillion Lands Starring Role in BET's New Legal Drama 'In Contempt'

NEW YORK, December 6, 2017 (Newswire.com) - MBL Intl Group has announced that Tobias Truvillion,  award-winning actor, model, film producer, inner-city mentor, advocate, arts instructor, fitness enthusiast, fashion lover and philanthropist, had landed a starring role in BET's New Legal Drama 'In Contempt'.  He is known for his role in popular hit television show "Empire", where he played D Major, the controversial producer/lover of Jamal Lyons ( Jussie Smolett). Truvillion has an extensive body of work including roles in White Collar, Hitch, Blue Bloods and One Life To Live — for which he received The NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actor in a Daytime Drama Series — to name a few.

Originally From Queens, New York, Tobias resides in New Jersey where he lives with his wife, actress Michelle Morgan-Truvillion. Tobias is currently in Toronto shooting BET’s straight to series legal drama starring opposite the amazingly talented Erica Ash (Survivors Remorse, Real Husbands of Hollywood). Truvillion plays her love interest.
