Leslea G. Ellis, Founder and Managing Member of Leslea Ellis, LLC has been awarded the Certified in Financial Forensics Credential (CFF) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AIPCA).

Fort Myers, Florida, February 17, 2015 (Newswire.com) - According to the AIPCA website, “The CFF credential is granted exclusively to CPAs who demonstrate considerable expertise in forensic accounting through their knowledge, skills, and experience. The CFF encompasses fundamental and specialized forensic accounting skills that CPA practitioners apply in a variety of service areas, including: bankruptcy; electronic data analysis; family law; valuations; fraud prevention, detection, and response; financial statement misrepresentation; and damages calculations”.

To qualify, applicants must be licensed CPAs and meet specific business experience and education requirements, in addition to passing the CFF exam.  Credential holders must also meet CPA and CFF recertification requirements every three years.
