Ed and Lydia Heinbockel Relocate Visual Purple Studio to Eagle, Idaho
JACKSON, Wyo., June 7, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Ed and Lydia Heinbockel recently made a significant business decision to relocate their company, Visual Purple, from San Luis Obispo, California to Eagle, Idaho. Visual Purple is a certified Woman-owned Small Business with Lydia Heinbockel serving as Chairperson and CEO and Ed Heinbockel serving as President and COO.
Under the Heinbockel’s leadership, Visual Purple designs and builds the next generation of training with realistic and engaging storylines forming the backbone of the training simulations. Replicating ‘real world’ experiences and creative simulation design result in a cost-effective custom training and education solution.
The decision to move the Visual Purple studio to Eagle, Idaho was made for several compelling factors. The most prominent reason for the relocation was that both Lydia and Ed Heinbockel fell in love with the independent and entrepreneurial spirit of Idaho. After discovering the area themselves, Ed and Lydia sent a group of expeditionary employees to the area. The employees were fascinated with Eagle as well because of its charm and vibrant atmosphere and were excited to relocate their families there.
The office building was another huge draw for employees to relocate from California to Idaho. After looking at office space options, everyone decided on a charming converted home. In addition to the current employees, Visual Purple is excited to tap into the local talent pool that Eagle has to offer. The Visual Purple Studio is now located at 237 North First Street in Eagle, Idaho.
Lydia R. Heinbockel, Chairperson & CEO, has been “plugged-in” to Visual Purple since its inception, which is not hard to do since she is married to Ed Heinbockel, Visual Purple’s President/COO and Founder.
Lydia rose to the level of national sales manager for French-based Pierre Fabre Cosmetics. The entrepreneurial bug bit and Lydia left Pierre Fabre to build her own successful marketing and distribution company. To help the Company meet the demands of a growing high-tech business, Lydia took on the role of CEO with a focus on shaping market positioning and sales strategies across sectors. Additionally, Lydia is an active Visual Purple board member.
Newsweek wrote that Ed Heinbockel is “a true media revolutionary, Heinbockel is a moviemaker who wants to give you final cut.” A “high bandwidth” entrepreneur, Mr. Heinbockel, founder and president of Visual Purple, has more than 25 years of hands-on experience in the management of high-tech companies, with a proven record of success in building leading-edge software products for both public and private companies. More recently, Mr. Heinbockel has enjoyed revisiting his engineering roots, building FLEX simulations for nuclear power plants; simulations designed to test and train for the unthinkable – and make the unimaginable, possible.
Under his leadership, Visual Purple clients include just about every U.S. government agency that ends in a vowel. Ed Heinbockel was recognized by Newsweek Magazine’s Century Club as one of the top “100 people to watch …in the next millennium.” He was also recognized as one of Executive Excellence Magazine’s “Top 100 Thinkers of Our Time.”
Ed and Lydia Heinbockel, along with the entire team at Visual Purple, are excited about the recent studio relocation from California to Idaho.
