Eccentric Teapots from The Teapottery Available Soon in the US

Handmade collectible teapots from The Teapottery will soon be available for purchase in the United States. This cottage industry has stretched out to many countries all over the world from Iceland to Saudi Arabia to Russia, and beyond.

Their eccentric creations, which can be found at No. 10 Downing Street, on the set of "The Golden Girls," and in top celebrity homes in the UK will finally be available in the United States.

Marilyn Meyer, proprietor of Cozy Teapot Shop, said "We will be one of the first to offer these highly sought-after teapots in the United States. Their handcrafted ceramic teapots are quickly becoming modern heirlooms."

The weird and wonderful designs offered by The Teapottery mirror the fun personalities of their creators, who never run out of ideas. Each teapot is carefully designed and may have as many as 15 pieces. Since each pot is cast and decorated entirely by hand it takes over two weeks from start to finish. Not only are these teapots decorative, but their English ceramic craftsmanship will stand up to a lifetime of brewing.

"We expect demand will be strong among collectors," said Ms. Meyer. Supplies will arrive in the US in the next two weeks. Initial supplies will be limited.
