STEELFIT® Strength Systems Releases Strength Grid™
Multi-functional pull up bar systems now available for shipment across the US
In tandem with the launch of the newly designed STEELFIT® web site steelfitstrength.com has made available its' largest, most complete steel pull up bar system yet; the new Steelfit Strength Grid™ Base Unit, with expansion options. In response to overwhelming number of requests from gym owners for an alternative to the other pull up rigs and racks on the market, the Strength Grid™ provides the quality and authenticity that customers have come to expect from STEELFIT® products.
"Customers really appreciate the hand crafted workmanship and high quality of our wall mounted pull up bars, free standing pull up bars and customized Grids and Systems, but many have been seeking a Strength Grid™ system that we could ship anywhere for local installation", said STEELFIT Product Development Chief, Keith Passanante. "A STEELFIT Strength Grid™ Base Unit easily becomes the centerpiece of a new or existing gym and gives CrossFit and other gym owners an alternative that really sets their space apart from the competition. Just about every owner we talk to is looking for something different, more durable, functional and cooler looking then what you will find in most boxes across the country", he went on to say.
Constructed of 2 ½" structural grade square steel tube and 3" channel, the Base Unit frame rises from 8' to 8-1/2' for varying height pull up stations, accommodating athletes of all size. It is 14' wide and 6' deep and can be installed either against a wall or off set to allow for training access from all sided. The frame posts come pre-drilled with holes for optional rack brackets and expansion kits are available in 6' and 4' sections to make larger units for more expansive spaces.
As with all STEELFIT® products, providing multi-use functionality is paramount. For the Strength Grid, the uses are only limited by the imagination. In addition to over 40' feet of primary pull up bar surfaces around the perimeter of the unit, the Grid also has "monkey bars" and another 12' feet on the permanent parallel bars that flank the end caps and center sections of the unit. Optional brackets are available (up to 4 pairs for the standard base unit) that attach to the frame to support an Olympic bar for squatting an pressing.
"I have trained and competed in gyms all over the world and the STEELFIT® quality, functionality and attention to detail is the REAL DEAL", said CrossFit Games Top Ten Finisher, Blair Morrison, when asked why he elected to add the new Strength Grid™ to the his CrossFit Anywhere in Folsom California.
The STEELFIT® Strength Grid™ is the latest of several new products the company plans to launch this year. As a follow up to the wildly popular, FREE-Bar™, free standing pull up bar,an extended version, the FREE-Grid has been introduced for gym owners looking for less then the full scale grid, but still needing the functionality and portability of a moveable system. Several new wall mount models will be released within the first quarter including a 96" multi user bar and a new Over Door model, perfect for any home gym setting.
"We remain committed to listening to and responding to the requests of our customers. Emails flow in by the hundreds and through customer input, we are pleased to be able to expand the product line and attract new STEELFIT® fans and loyalists", said Passanante,
