Earth Citizen Walk to Increase Earth Awareness and Support Rockland Farm Alliance and IBREA's Work in El Salvador to Achieve UN's Millennium Development Goals to End Poverty May 6, 2012.

On May 6th, at Rockland Lake State Park, people from all over the tri-state area will celebrate love and respect for the Earth by taking part in the 3rd Annual Earth Citizen Walk. CGI Holistic Fitness, in Closter NJ, is the hosting organization and main sponsor of the event. The spirit of the Earth Citizen Movement, created by Ilchi Lee under the auspices of the International Brain Education Association (IBREA), an NGO accredited to the United Nations, is re-invigorated each year with the Earth Citizen Walk. The event will consist of a 3 mile walk for the earth, performances, and other activities, all geared towards recognizing the importance of humanity's interdependence and connection to the Earth. Proceeds from the event will be given to IBREA and its projects to raise Earth Citizen Awareness and improve education in El Salvador, and to the Rockland Farm Alliance, a community coalition that facilitates local sustainable agriculture in Rockland County and provides educational resources to the community to promote awareness of the need for local food resources.
