Ears To You® Founder and Executive Director, Ruth Crane, Recognized by the JD Breast Cancer Foundation
Online, November 17, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Ears To You®, a 501 c3 nonprofit corporation whose mission is to provide earrings to women undergoing chemotherapy, was founded in 2008 by Executive Director, Ruth Crane, after her own personal battle with breast cancer. Ears To You® is pleased to announce that Founder, Ruth Crane, was one of ten women recognized by the JD Breast Cancer Foundation for their brave and courageous determination in the fight against breast cancer.
More than three hundred guests attended this year's Pink Carpet Gala held at The Club at Key Center in Cleveland, where all ten women from Northeast Ohio were honored. Each woman received a complete makeover and a special recognition gift.The mission of the JD Breast Cancer Foundation is to provide essential services to women with breast cancer by offering financial assistance, emotional support, and education to enhance survivorship.
Ears To You® has established programs that provide earrings to women undergoing chemotherapy at The Cleveland Clinic, Akron General Hospital, Parma Community General Hospital and St. Vincent Hospital - Indianapolis.
