Eagle Technology's Proteus MMX Version 3.2 Focuses on Improved User Experience
Mequon, WI, November 17, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Eagle Technology, an international leader of CMMS and Facility Maintenance (CAFM) software announced the release of a new version of their cloud-based CMMS software Proteus MMX. Proteus MMX version 3.2 has many design changes to make maintenance users’ lives easier.
A big focus of the 3.2 release was an effort to speed up the work order creation process. In that effort, Eagle has added Quick Links to every screen in Proteus MMX 3.2. These Quick Links are shortcuts to commonly performed tasks, such as creating a work order or adding an asset. While most Quick Links are simply shortcuts, the “Create New Work Order” is actually a streamlined, one-page version of the regular Work Order creation page. This allows users to bypass filling out non-imperative fields, and get right to creating the work order.
Another time-saver that was added is the ability to create work orders directly from the Locations Tree. This saves you several steps if you’re issuing a work order against a location or building, for example.
Finally, the Planner page was redesigned for increased ease of use and added functionality. It is now easier than ever to view the maintenance calendar by scheduled, unscheduled, overdue or future work orders. You can also filter by employee, task and more. If hours are consistently assigned to tasks, the Planner is also a great place to see estimated maintenance hours for the day.
Like all other of Eagle’s CMMS software products, Proteus MMX 3.2 integrates with virtually all Building Automation Systems made by companies such as Johnson Controls, Honeywell, Tridium, Siemens and Schneider. Customers who use CMMS see a reduction in operating costs and improved facilities management, among other benefits.
