DynGlobal Releases Emergency Preparedness Portable Solar Power Solutions
Online, April 29, 2011 (Newswire.com) - DynGlobal is pleased to announce its sustainable energy and water products, which are available for the continuing devastating spring tornados and upcoming U.S. hurricane season. "We know that disaster will strike. It's just a matter of time. We want others to know that there are solutions available and that people should be prepared," states DynGlobal CEO, A.V. Wright.
Solar-Driven Water Purification
DynGlobal's water purification units have capacities ranging from 100 liters per day up to hundreds of thousands of liters per day and features a four-stage nanotechnology filtration process enabling to filter out radioactive contamination, arsenic, mercury, lead, bacteria, and other heavy metals.
The units are rapidly deployable and can be paired with backup battery power to be grid-independent. DynGlobal's units are capable of purifying water to remove bacteria, cysts, viruses, pathogens, heavy metals such as arsenic and lead, and most importantly in the wake of the nuclear disaster in Japan, radioactive contaminants such as uranium and iodine 131, to high potable drinking standards which exceed WHO suggested levels.
Emergency Lighting
DynGlobal's emergency lighting units, the DG Search and Rescue (S&R) and DG Solar LED products also being provided to those seeking to be prepared for emergency lighting outages.
The DG S&R units feature high flux LEDs of 4000 to 8000 lumens, a 700-watt inverter, 12-volt batter backup with 12 hours of power supply, and a 72-watt custom-made foldable solar blanket. The DG Solar LED is a high efficiency lighting system that can be powered by DynGlobal's small 16watt foldable solar thin film paired with a small lithium ion battery.
The DG S&R and Solar LED are an excellent portable solution that enables the user to be grid-independent with reliable power and lighting in times of emergencies and electrical outages.
Portable Solar Generators
Self-contained and powered completely by the energy of the sun, these 12-volt generators can power life-sustaining electrical equipment including DynGlobal's water purification systems and recharge telephones, radios, cameras, televisions, small medical devices, computers, mini-refrigerators and air conditioning units.
The generators are waterproof and airtight and include two USB direct ports and two standard AC outlets for an integrated solar charge. It also features a built-in controller with standard on/off switch and a direct cooling fan. The DG solar generators come in standard sizes of 600 and 1000 watts with larger sizes available upon request.
DynGlobal works closely with the state and local emergency responders, U.S. military, NGOs and non-profits, and U.S. and foreign government agencies to deploy its suite of renewable energy solutions.
