Duffels4Kids will host its 2016 walk May 21 at the Jacksonville Zoo & Gardens in Jacksonville, Florida
Miami, FL, September 28, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Duffels4Kids is pleased to announce it will host its 2016 walk on May 21, 2016 at the Jacksonville Zoo & Gardens in Jacksonville, Florida. The Jacksonville Zoo provides the perfect location for a gathering of foster, adoptive and kinship caregivers and their children, as well as community residents supporting children in foster care.
Oftentimes, children in foster care are given trash bags to use as luggage. Duffels4Kids aims to change this culture in foster care, one duffel at a time, by raising the awareness of the degrading practice through its Duffels4Kids Walk. The nonprofit does not stop at just awareness, however, as it follows up with providing duffels to children in foster care at no cost to them.
