DSFederal Awarded Three IT Contracts to Help Agencies Modernize

DSFederal, Inc., an award-winning woman-owned business that develops leading-edge technology solutions for federal agencies, announced new contract awards with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and the Defense Human Resources Agency (DHRA) Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Systems (ESGR) to provide high-level expertise in technology modernization and process improvement.

Supporting FDA, DSFederal will work with the Office of Information Management and Technology (OIMT) Property Management Team (PMT), to enhance the Computer Acknowledgement Receipt (CAR) application. Our efforts will help improve the accuracy of data within the Property Management Information System (PMIS) to provide a clear record of equipment ownership.

“We are excited and looking forward to supporting FDA on this project that utilizes some of the latest technologies such as Angular, Node.js and Amazon AWS,” said Senior Project Manager Thiagarajan Prakash.

DSFederal will assist CPSC in redesigning SaferProducts.gov, a government-mandated database for consumers to report unsafe products. The project will modernize mobile capabilities, overhaul content and update the agency’s incident reporting and business registration forms.

At DHRA, DSFederal will provide a refresh of its portal suite of three custom-built applications, which serve members of the Reserve Components: the Inquiry and Case Management System (ICMS), the Freedom Award Nomination (FAN), and the Member Management System (MMS).

“We are honored to be able to continuously serve FDA, CPSC, and ESGR,” said Sophia Parker, founder and CEO of DSFederal. “We have served these clients for many years, particularly the FDA, which we’ve served since 2010. We are as committed today as we were nine years ago.”
