Drug-Free Athletic Bodies Are Invading the Rohnert Park Area
The Drug-Free NGA Natural Mr/Ms Olympian Pro/Am 2017
ROHNERT PARK, Calif., August 8, 2017 (Newswire.com) - On Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017, local and National drug-free athletes will compete for the NGA Natural Mr/Ms Olympian Pro/Am bodybuilding Championship. The competition will be located at Spreckels Performing Arts Center in Rohnert Park, California.
The competition will award $10,000 in cash prizes to Professional athletes and Amateurs will compete to qualify for Professional status. The Competition will feature National titles for the NGA Natural Ms. Figure Olympian, the NGA Natural Ms. Bikini Olympian, NGA Natural Ms. Physique Olympian and the NGA Natural Mr. Physique Olympian. This event is a Pro show and Amateur Pro Qualifier.
The NGA (www.nationalgym.com) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization which serves a dual mission:
- To inform and support athletes through education, personal fitness training and certification programs.
- Encouragement in the art and science of natural strength training and bodybuilding.
In addition, they educate and inform the public about adequate and misrepresentation of athletes in the sport of natural bodybuilding. The NGA's intent is to set the example in the industry to speak for and further the betterment of its constituency in the fitness industry.
In 1986, the NGA sanctioned its first all "natural" bodybuilding contest in the United States. Since then, the NGA has grown to become the largest promoter of "natural" bodybuilding contests worldwide. The NGA has become the leader in the industry of natural bodybuilding, which sanctions, promotes, produces and directs both amateur and professional championships in the United States and abroad.
