Dr Tariq Drabu Discusses Profits in NHS and Private Dental Practices in 2015

Dr Tariq Drabu in Manchester said “Private dental practice profits are leading over NHS dental practices for the first time in almost ten years. Statistics released by the National Association of Specialist Dental Accountants and Lawyers has shown that NHS practices are making a profit of £129,000 per principal and private practices are making £131,000.”
Dr Tariq Drabu went on to say “All practices are seeing a profit in 2015. The NHS has increased their profits for the first time since 2009. The profit was identified based on six hundred practices based throughout the United Kingdom. The UDA (Units of Dental Activity) remained unchanged last year with fifty eight per cent of dentists being sole traders, nineteen per cent being in a partnership and twenty three per cent being a limited company.”
