Dr. Steven Victor to Bring New Injection Technology to Dubai to Help With Wrinkles and Loss of Volume

Dr. Victor, medical director of ReGen Medical, will bring facial cellular fat injections to the Emirates Hospital Jumeriah, Dubai, Sept. 16, 2018, to help with wrinkles and loss of volume. This uses the patient’s own tissue and cells to replace artificial injectables.

“This technique, using the patient’s own tissue, is considered a breakthrough new way to tackle wrinkles so one can look younger,” according to NYC’s and Dubai’s acclaimed board-certified regenerative medicine physician Dr. Steven Victor.

A small amount of fat (approximately 20 cc of fat) is harvested by hand under local and through a series of filters, the fat in homogenized so it can be injected through a very small gauge needle. During this filtration process, the stromal vascular fraction cells are released from the blood vessels in the fat.

According to Dr. Victor, “This is the longest-lasting and most effective way to give our looks an overall reboot. This, combined with fresh fat, will replace the hyaluronic acid injectables. One major advantage is that this lasts longer and helps the texture of the skin, too. This technique beautifully restores facial volume, while improving the quality of the skin and reducing inflammation."

This procedure is done under local anesthesia, takes only an hour and has minimal downtime, swelling and bruising.

As Dr. Victor explains, “The homogenized fat is the filler agent and is combined with whole fat for more volume while the stromal vascular fraction cells act as anti-inflammation agents. This helps reduce superficial wrinkles while replacing loss volume and utilizes the healing properties of the stromal vascular fraction cells.”

This is a major advancement over artificial fillers that last only a short amount of time and have no healing properties. The quality of the skin has been shown to improve as does texture.
