Dr. Jeffrey Holmes Joins KeyNote Speakers.

Online, November 11, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Dr. Jeffrey Holmes, a lead consultant at Patricia Berkly LLC, will lend his expertise to Key Note speakers, a subsidiary of Patricia Berkly LLC. The author of A Guide to Transition Students with Disabilities from High School to College, Dr. Holmes offers keynote speeches and workshops regarding leadership, disabilities issues, and athletics.

Over the past year, Dr. Holmes has spoken at Montgomery County Community College in greater Philadelphia, provided commencement speeches, and participated in a webinar series discussing disability issues for high school students transitioning to college and compliance issues for athletics. Recent events have including guest lecturing in regard to alternative assessment.

Dr. Jeffrey Holmes, a veteran of two decades in higher education, served in appointments for the State of California, Region IX Statewide Advisory for Disabled Student Programs and Services for six years. He represented 10 Southern California Community College Districts and their constituency at state level. He formulated policy recommendations for the State of California. While serving as a District Compliance Officer, ADA / Director, Disabled Student Programs and Services well over a decade. Serving on the President's Cabinet, he provided administrative leadership for Americans with Disabilities Act and the integration of policy planning, curriculum development, facilities planning, resource allocation, and accessibility for faculty, staff, and students through support programs. He oversaw all program administration and fiscal planning for program, supervising directors, faculty and support staff.

His book, Guide to Transition Students with Disabilities has helped a number of high schools serve students with disabilities as they strive to make the jump to a college education. His second book, Broken Toys, The NCAA Community College Male Athlete is slated for release later this year.
