Dr. Dee Stephenson Makes Presentation at the Congress of the European Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgeons - Estimated 8,000 Surgeons Attend Conference In London, England
Sarasota, FL, December 5, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Dr. Stephenson was invited by the Society to be a guest speaker for the “Cataract Surgery-Special Cases” segment of the symposium. Her topic focused on post refractive patients and wavefront aberrometry. She spoke on ways to improve the clinical outcomes of a Lasik patient by utilizing Toric intraocular lenses in conjunction with the new Optiwave Refractive Analysis technology, known as ORA Systems, which provides real time measurements of a patient’s eye during surgery. At the conference, Dr. Stephenson also spoke on surgical outcomes using the ORA System versus the older technology lens calculator.
