Donald Spector, Chairman Emeritus of New York College of Health Professionals is in Serious Discussions to Bring Holographic Media Into the Home

The Next Generation in Home Entertainment

The New York College of Health Professionals announced earlier this week the issuance of U.S. Patent No. 9,693,140  that allows remote speakers to project not only the sound of artists and entertainment, but also project real life images emanating from the speakers. This breakthrough patent uses WiFI, Internet streaming and holographic projections and playlists to create the ultimate home experience. This represents a new frontier in home entertainment which the college is planning to spin off and hopes will become a billion dollar business.

The inventor Donald Spector holds patents that were the basis for location-based advertising, one of the first Super Apps, and breakthrough patents for wearables, 3D animation and hundreds of products generating billions of dollars. Spector is well-known for his work in the fragrance industry, with medical technologies, security systems and computer technologies. He is the most prolific living inventor that is not a household name.

No stranger to the entertainment industry, Spector  partnered with Mitsui & Co. (one of the largest companies in the world), where he helped broker the sale of NBC in the Pacific Rim to Mitsui, as well as introducing QVC to Mitsui, which purchased half the rights of QVC for Japan and other parts of the Pacific Rim. He has served as executive producer on Broadway and president of a major record label, which featured in its format artists such as Elvis Presley, Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney and Pavarotti.

“So much for audio or video as we know it, soon you will have both in a new dimension with real life holographic images coming into your home,” said Lisa Pamintuan, President of New York College.

Donald Spector, Prolific Inventor, Philanthropist and Futurist, has opened up billion dollar businesses before, and believe that this will change everything.  “Holography is in its infancy,” said Spector. “You may have seen it at theme parks or other entertainment venues, but now it will be the next generation in Home Entertainment. You will basically see live performers in your home.”

Donald Spector has been in discussions with Chris Carmichael to develop the home entertainment holographic patent to its fullest potential as a multi-billion dollar business. Carmichael, who has been described as visionary holds patents in immersive technology and has filed several patents in Virtual and Augmented Reality. The two have been in discussions of working together since meeting in New York over the past few years in a variety of technologies including Holography.

“Donald is one of the most brilliant men I have ever met. It is an honor to have the privilege to work with him. This patent is an absolute game changer,” said Chris Carmichael.

Spector believes the product has strong potential for educational and commercial use, where office buildings and malls can not only replace expensive Christmas trees and waterfalls with holographic images but can provide content-rich advertising and entertainment experiences at the tap of a Smartphone. Spector projects the product will hit the market at under one thousand dollars and eventually be priced at a couple of hundred dollars for the home market.
