WINDOW ROCK, Ariz., June 11, 2018 (Newswire.com) - Diné Source, LLC, a subsidiary of Diné Development Corporation, has been awarded the 8(a) small business certification by the Small Business Administration (SBA). Diné Source provides solutions across an array of core competencies. The company has successfully teamed with other companies since its established in 2016, and has built a sturdy portfolio and economic viability that will support the strategic opportunities their resources are devoted to. “Now that we have the certification, we will continue to develop opportunities and become the premier small business provider of software development and IT services in the commercial and federal sectors” - Scott McKee, Diné Source President.
The SBA 8(a) Business Development Program assists small, disadvantaged businesses by allowing them to compete for sole source government contracts for goods and services. Certification into the SBA 8(a) Business Development Program is a stringent process in which the business needs to be controlled and owned by U.S. citizens at least 51 percent socially or economically disadvantaged. Diné Source will participate in the program that spans over nine years with a four-year developmental stage and five-year transition stage. Within that time, the SBA will closely monitor Diné Source’s progress on each stage to ensure they are meeting program benchmarks.
Now that we have the certification, we will continue to develop opportunities and become the premiere small business provider of software development and IT services in the commercial and federal sectors.
