Denver Restaurant Delivers Record Numbers on Valentine's Day

India's Castle Indian restaurant wanted to have a special Sweetheart Deal for its loyal customers on Valentine's Day. What India's Castle didn't expect was a standing room only, festive party to end all parties on Valentine's Day.

The evening started slow for Gagan Banwait, General Manager of India's Castle in Greenwood Village. As people started trickling in at around 4:30pm on Valentine's Day, it seemed like just another day at his family owned Indian restaurant. After tallying up the totals from that night, the numbers told a different story. "It was a very good Sunday for us", said Gagan. "We normally do not serve 120 people on an average Sunday night".

The Sweetheart Deal was an idea that came to fruition when Gagan and his father Jay were discussing having monthly events at the local Indian food restaurant. This has been an ongoing strategy since the initial success of the 'Mother of All Indian Buffets' last December. Marketing Director, Chris Arnell of El Dorado SEO has worked with Gagan and his father since then doing monthly promotions to encourage local Denver residents to try their special brand of Indian Cuisine.

Mr. Arnell remarked earlier this month that "If you like Mexican food then you will surely enjoy Indian food and encourages anyone that has not tried Indian food to give it a try". The Valentine's Day event was a huge success because more people are becoming accustomed to the flavors of India. Although the restaurant is not participating in the 'Denver Restaurant Week', Gagan is inviting anyone that enjoys fine dining to come to their Indian restaurant and give them a try.
