Day Translations Announces Award Ceremony for the Language Industry
NEW YORK, June 12, 2019 (Newswire.com) - International Language Service Provider Day Translations Inc. has announced the first Day Awards.
The ceremony, to take place on International Translators Day, will be transmitted on the company’s YouTube channel and will be hosted by Day Translations’ very own Sean Hopwood.
The CEO will be accompanied by DT team members Diego Mejía, from Bogotá, Colombia, and María Di Lorenzo, based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Awards will be given to members of the DT team and of the language industry. Categories will be separated into “Internal awards” (those for members of the DT team) and “External awards” (those for members of the language industry).

Best Subtitles For A Non-English Drama 2019
Best Localized Game 2019
Best Translated Book 2019
Lifetime Achievement Award For The Preservation Of Languages
Best Language Teacher
Best Language School
Best Promoter Of The Language Industry
Nominations will be received both by invited members of the industry, those in Day Translations’ professional network and client base, and authorized members of the general public.
When asked for commentary, Day Translations’ CEO Sean Hopwood explained: “We should recognize the amazing work done by our employees and partners, as well as the amazing work of industry professionals from all around the world, across specialties. The submission period for nominations is yet to be announced.
