Davpack Creates New Charity Postal Packaging Range Supporting the Children's Society
East Service Road Raynesway, United Kingdom, October 16, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Davpack and The Children’s Society teamed up this year to supply hundreds of UK primary schools with resources aimed at helping children cope with their problems better.
Following this success, Davpack has launched an innovative charity packaging range, which is set to raise valuable funds for the children’s charity over the festive season.
Davpack has launched an innovative charity packaging range, which is set to raise valuable funds for the children's charity over the festive season.
Charity packaging works in much the same way as charity Christmas cards, with customers able to buy their packaging exactly as normal – and without a premium price – but with a portion of what they pay being passed directly on to the charity.
The range includes some of Davpack’s biggest selling postal packaging items, including mailing boxes and mailing bags. Each individual box and bag has been printed with a special message so that the recipient knows that their purchase is supporting a worthwhile cause. Buying a pack of charity boxes could raise up to £1.50, while a pack of mailing bags could result in a £5 donation to The Children’s Society.
Davpack’s Managing Director Barney Byfield explained the thinking behind the latest development in the relationship with The Children’s Society: “Thanks to faster internet speeds and better online security, home shopping is bigger than ever, which means that more and more mail order packaging is required to ship all those goods around the country.
“We believe this is a UK first. It opens up the possibility for businesses to help a top children’s charity every time they use packaging and send out a parcel. People are used to the concept of charity greetings cards, and we are confident that people will appreciate their parcels arriving in a charity box, instead of a plain one. We’re thrilled to be helping The Children’s Society in their fight to protect vulnerable children.”
