Data-Tech Wows With 20th Anniversary Open House and Cyber-Threat Prevention Event
Tampa Bay's premier provider of IT Security and Cloud Services hosted a well-received open house and cyber security event in Tampa.
Tampa, Florida, March 31, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Upwards of 150 local professionals packed Data-Tech’s state-of-the-art Tampa facility on Wednesday, March 30th for a fun-filled educational event, showcasing some of today’s most advanced weapons in the worldwide fight against cyber-crime. Cyber security has moved to the forefront of business priorities for organizations throughout the world, and the area’s premier provider of cyber-security and cloud services didn’t disappoint.
The evening wasn’t all business however, as guests mingled and networked over gourmet hors d’oeuvres and cocktails in between entertaining and interactive demonstrations, presentations and informal round table discussions.

An Eye-Opening Experience
Visitors were treated to a number of entertaining and informative presentations focusing on various aspects of cyber-security, as well as the latest technology that forward-thinking organizations are now using to keep their networks fully protected.
After an entertaining welcome presentation by Data-Tech president and CEO Chris Lietz in the new Cyber-Threat Defense Center, guests dispersed to various areas of the facility to learn more, depending on their specific preferences and areas of concern. A number of visitors filled Data-Tech’s Solution Center to witness Senior Dell System Engineer Rob Krug’s “Fortifying the Network” demonstration, where they learned some of the more advanced strategies to keep corporate networks safe from today’s constant stream of cyber-threats.
Data-Tech’s own VMS Engineer Jonathon Blacklidge educated guests on the dire importance of endpoint encryption, as well as the power of Kaseya—the robust monitoring and management tool behind Data-Tech’s award-winning managed services.
Expert guest speakers from Data-Tech partners IBM and StorageCraft delivered powerful demonstrations as well. John Guidone from IBM illustrated how organizations can effectively manage and safeguard their mobile devices, apps and content with Data-Tech’s Guardian Endpoint Mobility Management. Kevin Uttich from StorageCraft showed guests how to effectively maintain business continuity during times of disaster, computer outages or other unforeseen events, through Data-Tech’s powerful Shadow Cloud solution.

Last Minute Addition: VoIP

Interactive Round Tables
