Online, September 11, 2011 (Newswire.com) - New York, NY - DA' Right Entertainment Controversy?!Productions & Parle Magazine are pleased to announce it's inaugural Ultimate Entertainment Mixer to be held on September 20, 2011 from 7:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m. at Iguana New York Restaurant and Dance Lounge, located at 240 West 54th Street New York, NY, between Broadway and 8th Avenue. Showtime at 8pm General Admission is $15.00 and $10.00 in advance. The night will include poetry, Live Musical Performances, and much more. The Entertainment:
Delano Barbosa, singing since the age of 12, performed as part of the Boston area music group N2U for many years before stepping out on his own solo career. He in the process of finishing his solo debut album with an international flare blended with R&B, ZOUK sounds and some house music. Delano has had the opportunity to perform some of his new music at the Akon Concert in the Cape Verde Islands off the west coast of Africa. As an Actor, Delano can currently be seen in a hit video for the song Far Away by Marsha Ambrosius and is also B.E.T'S Music Video of the year, VH1 and more. His Film Credits include Disney's The Game Plan Starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as a featured football player. He's currently performing on stage as part of the cast of the Hit Off-Broadway play Black Angels Over Tuskegee by Layon Gray.
A gifted vocalist, born and raised in the Bronx, NY, Ayana George makes her Off-Broadway debut in "Love Happened by Chance". Ayana has been blessed to work in ministry with gospel "greats" such as Shirley Caesar, Karen Clark-Sheard, J.Moss, Donald Lawrence, Kim Burrell, Marvin Sapp, Hezekiah Walker & LFCC and Pastor Donnie McClurkin to name a few. Ayana most recently appeared as a background vocalist on the third season of the BET television show "Sunday Best". Her future musical endeavors include a gospel cd release in 2012.
Laketchia Pebbles Grubb is a recognized preacher, singer, and songwriter who has shared the stage with many of gospel's elite. She has opened for such renowned artists as Fred Hammond, Karen Clark Sheard, Tye Tribbett, Hezekiah Walker, the late Pastor Timothy Wright, and Daniel Winans to name a few. Pebbles has appeared in several small gospel stage productions across the United States and currently serves as the Minister of Music and Arts at True Holy Church in Brooklyn, NY.
Jerome Brooks Jr. is a SAG member who can be seen all over the world as the keyboard player in the commercial and on the cover of the Rock Band 3 game. He plays Josh, the Hip Hop Dance instructor, in the soon to be released Feature Film Art= (Love)2. He was a singer in Switzerland's "Circus Conelli" in 2010-2011 and has also performed in Germany, Turkey, Italy, Austria, and Japan. He was the Music Director for Sunday Gospel and Jazz Brunch at the Soul Cafe from the TV Show "New York Undercover," and has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from Shenandoah Conservatory.
