Danger Pig band welcomes new female vocalist.
Online, October 25, 2009 (Newswire.com) - Lhia Elder now joins the rest of the band. Lhia studied Opera as a Voice Performance Major at the University of Arizona. She has been influenced by Karen Carpenter, Pat Benate and Geoffe Tate to name only a few.
Danger Pig is moving forward with their publicity campaign to approach national and local brands of coffee houses, venues, and event planners to work on cross promotional opportunities. Danger Pig is also trying to pitch the US Military, and their fundraising music events, to give back to a cause close to the band member's hearts. In addition, the band has approached a European promoter to potentially set up some tour dates in 2010.
As the band was once known for their cover tunes, they are becoming more and more known for their original work. Lhia's addition to the band only solidifies this fact.
Currently, Danger Pig is comprised of Lhia Elder, Lee Gattenby, Bill Kelley, Ryan Bell, and Bob Carew. The band's social media content includes MySpace, Twitter, and Broadtexter to name just a few.
