Dallas Marketing and Technology Event Will Benefit the Digital Career Center, a Local Non-Profit

Dallas, TX, March 15, 2016 (Newswire.com) - ​​Dallas based group Digital by Events is proud to announce that the Digital Career Center, a locally based non-profit will be the beneficiary of the Digital by Dallas event being held on April 25th, 2016.

The Digital by Dallas event titled “First” is being held at Southern Methodist University in the Fondren Science Building. The event is a showcase of local knowledge and thought leaders representing various aspects of the digital business industry in and around Dallas, TX. The speakers at the event will tell stories that are inspiring, imaginative, and informative and cover an array of topics of interest to marketers, developers, small business owners, startups, investors, students, and educators. The event is part of a series of events held quarterly in Dallas that seeks to help raise funds and awareness for local non-profits while also providing a framework for members of the digital industry to network and share stories and experiences. The Digital Career Center has agreed to be the beneficiary of the April 25th event, 100% of sales of tickets will be donated to support their mission to help those seeking to learn new skills and gain employment in the digital technology industry.

Support and awareness of local non-profits and their work is one of the founding principles for the Digital by Dallas event series. This quarterly event series gathers individuals involved in various digital business disciplines such as; Digital Marketing, SEO, Startup Technology, Mobile App Development, Social Media, SaaS Development, PPC Advertising, Web Development, Graphic Design, Online Advertising, and other related occupations from around the Dallas - Fort Worth area ensuring access to plentiful knowledge, amazing and unique networking opportunities, and innovative awareness of the digital business industry to all who attend. 

The event series seeks professionals who want to tell stories related to their work and experiences in their part of the digital business industry. To ensure the best stories are told at the event all speakers are selected by a committee of volunteers who only read the pitch submitted by the speakers having no knowledge of the name, gender, or other characteristics of the potential speaker then collectively select those stories that sound the most appealing.

The event will take place at Southern Methodist University in the Fondren Science Building at 6:30pm. The cost of attendance is kept low to ensure anyone who wishes to be inspired and learn can attend this ground breaking event. Seating is limited and the event is likely to sell out.
