DAAN Group Supports Evolution 2011 Debt Relief Conference
Online, July 31, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Now that the FTC has adopted new rules governing the debt relief industry, tried and true technology remains to relieve consumers from the overwhelming and even harassing barrage of collection calls that can ensue from demanding creditors and collectors.
The catalyst in this innovative service is the Debtor Activated Account Notification System and its patented Home Transmitter Module. One Module can transmit through all the phones in the same home, even cordless phones. It is activated when a call is received and the user, recognizing the call to be a collection effort, simply presses the star key on their phone and hangs up. The DAAN Module then takes over.
Collection calls are redirected to the DAAN Call Center where callers are "softened" into considering "settlement" instead of further collection calls or suits. The DAAN System will then advise the caller not to call the debtor again and further inform the caller that:
1. DAAN is monitoring collection call activity without disclosing the debt relief firm, OR
2. DAAN is monitoring collection call activity and give the caller the representative's Creditor Relations phone number, OR
3. DAAN is monitoring collection call activity and relay the message of your choice.
The key to ending repetitive calls is to let the caller know someone is monitoring the call activity. Date and time of call, as well as incoming call number are captured and logged.
"Collection calls break down the family unity, causing stress and conflict. After installing the DAAN unit, the calls dramatically decrease. The system even allows Creditors a superior method to eliminate the cost of wasted calls to the home, saving them time and money as well", stated Tom Adkins, co-founder of the DAAN Group LLC.
Previously only available to clients of bankruptcy attorneys, the DAAN Group introduced the DAAN System to debt relief firms in 2006 and the product was strongly embraced by over 100 firms. Debt relief firms provide DAAN to their clients thereby creating new monthly income, enabling higher retention rates, and reducing customer service costs. Sub-leasing the DAAN module to their clients provides debt relief companies with a compliant method to create new monthly revenue and work more effectively with Creditors, all in compliance with the new amendments to the Telephone Sales Rule. "This is simply a win-win-win solution, for debtors, creditors, and debt relief providers," Mr. Adkins continued. Best of all, there is no up-front investment required for TSR-compliant debt relief firms!
