Cygnet Infotech Integrates Multiple Legacy Systems For Its Client Using Microsoft.net Platform

Got a challenge for developing an application with Business Intelligence in .NET and got success!!!

Our client, a major title insurance and real estate service provider in US wanted to upgrade to a unified application for its legacy systems which were expensive to maintain, was a major cause of delay in servicing its clients and offered little opportunities for business intelligent data and reports.

The challenge was to provide a single dash board for employees and client, easy access of information, smooth integration of existing data from legacy applications into the new application and capability to manipulate data to provide Business intelligence for decision making.

We choose the Microsoft.net platform for working on this project, used Service oriented Architecture (SOA for tighter Business-IT alignment), Visual Studio 2005, Microsoft enterprise Library 3.0, BizTalk 2007 (for aggregating individual services into a larger composite solution)& MS SQL 2005 to deliver an application that provided a single application across enterprise, merging multiple legacy applications that were deployed over a period across multiple companies that merged with the principal entity.

The application offered a single access point, better control to employees, single point of information to customers, cut CSR time drastically and provided management with real time data for faster decision making.

The project was completed in 10 months, 2 months ahead of scheduled 12 months.
