Cybersecurity Company, Spider Labs, Selected for Tokyo-Sponsored Accelerator Program X-HUB TOKYO's East Coast Expansion Course

TOKYO, February 18, 2021 (Newswire.com) -  Spider Labs, Ltd., (Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Satoko Ohtsuki, hereinafter called Spider Labs) has been selected to participate in the East Coast Expansion Course of X-HUB TOKYO, a global startup accelerator program sponsored by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. Spider Labs aims to further expand activities globally by leveraging the North American startup ecosystem.

Background
Spider Labs has been strengthening its global expansion since opening its Portugal office in April 2019. Since market information and networking with globally active innovators are indispensable to accelerate the business, the company applied for X-HUB TOKYO's North American East Coast Expansion Course. Spider Labs delivered their business model and solutions during a pitch presentation and was successfully selected as a finalist for the program.

X-HUB TOKYO supports the expansion of local businesses to build a larger scale of global startups from Tokyo, along with the goal of maintaining the capital's competitiveness and growth as an international city. The six courses - U.S. West Coast, East Coast, Shenzhen, Singapore, Germany, and Web Summit - provide opportunities for the selected Tokyo startups to collaborate with global accelerators familiar with the regional ecosystems to partner with potential businesses and raise capital from investors through bootcamps and mentorships.

Future Activities
