Custom Legal Marketing Wins Gold MarCom Award for Brill Legal Group Website

Brill Legal Group Website Awarded Gold MarCom Award

The 2016 MarcCom Award winners have been announced. The MarCom Awards recognizes outstanding achievement by creative professionals involved in the concept, direction, design and production of marketing and communication materials and programs.

San Francisco-based Custom Legal Marketing (CLM), an Adviatech Company, has won a Gold MarCom Award in recognition of the website built for Brill Legal Group, P.C.

The Custom Legal Marketing design team, led by Art Director Kristen Friend, offers custom elements to each of its website designs. Brill Legal Group’s website design incorporates interactive elements like slide shows and infographics to highlight key information and help keep visitors engaged, as seen in the long-form page “Do the Police want to Talk to You?”. Long-form pages are broken down into digestible pieces that are separated by highlighted features to make the page more consumable for online reading.

The website’s new content was developed by CLM writers Ryan Conley and Dipal Parmar with editor Cristina Fries. Justin Torres managed the development team in programming the website. Search engine marketing was led by account manager Jason Bland.

Custom Legal Marketing incorporates client input as well as analyzed data from group studies to ensure the effectiveness of their projects. CLM also uses research and focus groups to learn how visitors respond emotionally to imagery on a website.

The research revealed that visitors were more strongly impacted by photos of the attorneys than stock photography. Custom Legal Marketing reached out to photographer Yossi Hoffman, a New York-based photographer, who visited Brill Legal Group’s offices to capture the images used on the site.

Brill Legal Group is a criminal defense law firm representing individuals and organizations facing prosecution and professional disciplinary inquiries. Peter Brill has appeared on Fox News, CBS News, and in Politico, the New York Times, the New York Post, PC Magazine, and Newsday.

MarCom is sponsored and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), a 22-year-old international organization consisting of several thousand creative professionals.

Custom Legal Marketing, an Adviatech company, offers branding, design and search engine marketing to law firms throughout the United States. Adviatech has been the marketing partner for renowned law firms since 2004.
