Crystal Frosts and No-Queue Cableway Ride Charm Zhangjiajie Tourists During Spring Festival
Online, February 23, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Zhangjiajie - Huangshi Zhai Forest Park was evidently the scenic destination of choice by tourists during the Spring Festival's Golden Week China. Over 20,000 guests enjoyed the Cableway - and no one had to line up to enjoy the ride. Crystal frosts formed due to the freezing temperature, which welcomed guests to China's first national park and made the experience even more dazzling.
Nestled in the City of Zhangjiajie, Huangshi Zhai is tagged as "the enlarged potted landscape and miniature fairyland". It is the largest among 3,000 large forest park consisting of quartz sandstone located southwest of the Wulingyuan Quartz forest park, a world natural heritage.
Tourists will enjoy the largest natural viewing deck that displays countless, widely distributed stone park and pillars with the clouds hovering above them and seemingly within reach.
In an almost ethereal experience, visitors to the Huangshi Zhai during the Golden Week of the Spring Festival were greeted by fascinating formations of ice crystals. The scenic spot of Zhangjiajie became a natural paradise of icy frosts due to freezing temperature levels, to the surprise of delighted visitors.
The Huangshi Zhai Cableway, another major attraction at Zhangjiajie, served over 20,000 tourist without long wait from January 31 to February 5, the Golden Week of the Spring Festival. Making this happen was an electronic system installed to prompt guests to take their turn and provide waiting time information. Each Cable-riding guest was readily assisted and supervised by the staff, to ensure zero queuing at the check-in area.
The Huangshi Zhai management had invested over 3 million Yuan to keep the facility in top shape. An elite crew of engineers and technicians carried out maintenance work and repairs throughout the Spring Festival's Golden Week.
The Huangshi Zhai Cableway had cost more than 80 million Yuan in upgrades in 2010, enabling it to transport 2,000 tourists per hour. The attraction was awarded "First-Class Enterprise of Safety Production Standardization" by China Cableway Association, and was granted 5S Safety Service Standard of the National Highest Cableway Enterprise in 2011.
