Council of Federal EEO & Civil Rights Executives Think Tank Brings Top Trainers to Washington DC

The Council of Federal EEO & Civil Rights Executives hosted the 2nd Thought Leadership Executive Think Tank ™ in Washington DC September 19 through September 21, 2012. The Training Exchange was held at the prestigious Charles Sumner Museum & Archives with the final day session held at the Martin Luther King Library. The Forum open to invited leaders from the federal & local government, corporate industry & entrepreneurial, academia and non-profits included 3 days of jam packed training and exchange sessions.

The focus of the TLC Executive Think Tank ™ is exchange in best practices for a diverse and inclusive workforce within industry and other fields. The Forum was held at the prestigious Charles Sumner School Museum & Archives located at 1201 17th Street NW Washington DC. The structure is a beautifully restored historic site in Washington DC, a property of the District of Columbia. The building currently houses the official Archives of the DC Public Schools as well as a research library. There is a museum of public education on site. The space opened as a school in 1872 as the first permanent school for African American children in Washington DC and, with more than $5 million dollars of restoration, is considered one of the most stunning historic buildings in the district.
