Cottingham & Butler Names King President of Regional Operations and Corporate Development

Dubuque, IA, December 19, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Cottingham & Butler announced today that Matt King has joined its leadership team as President of Regional Operations and Corporate Development.  In this role, King will oversee the company’s growing set of regional offices and drive the development and execution of the firm’s growth strategy.

Before joining Cottingham & Butler, King served as the Chief Financial Officer and Head of Operations for FanDuel, a venture-backed fantasy sports company headquartered in New York. While at FanDuel, Matt helped grow the business 500% in less than 18 months.

Matt has an impressive track record of success. In his work at FanDuel, KKR, and McKinsey, Matt was instrumental in developing strategy and driving sustainable growth. He is the right person to help Cottingham & Butler build its long-term growth strategy and play an instrumental role in executing the strategy. I am excited to welcome him to our team.

Prior to FanDuel, Matt worked for 11 years as a Director at Kohlberg, Kravis, Roberts and Co. and at KKR Capstone, and as a Consultant at McKinsey & Company, where he served Fortune 500 clients in a broad range of industries.

He holds bachelor’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Economics, summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from North Carolina State University. He currently serves on the Poole College of Management Board of Advisers.
