CorkPins is a virtual cork board like you would find in a laundromat or supermarket. Anything that you can do on a real cork board, you can do with CorkPins. Users can post ads free; other users can move those ads, tear them down or cover them. The only exception to this rule are ads that are "pinned" to the board. These paid ads are what keep CorkPins free for all other users.
The social features are what make CorkPins amazing and a threat to Facebook. Each user has a personal board that the user and their friends can post items to. It is very visual. Sound boards allow users to share music and indie artists can host sound boards for their fans.
What makes CorkPins different than other advertising websites is that it is completely visual and it has a limited landscape. Users can scroll up and down left and right, however, the prime placement of ads will be within the center of the screen that users see when accessing the board.
Each country will have a national board and each locality will have a board. Business can start their own branded boards for their customer base. The possibilities are endless!
