Copa Health is Now a Certified Autism Center™, Offers Respite Care for Families
MESA, Ariz., December 11, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Copa Health in Mesa, Arizona, is now a Certified Autism Center™, joining a growing number of organizations in the community to become certified. This movement, which was initiated by Visit Mesa and has resulted in Mesa becoming the first-ever Autism Certified City, was adopted early on by Copa Health.
The CAC designation, granted by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES), means that staff at Copa Health who work with individuals with autism have received additional training and professional certification in that field through IBCCES to enhance their understanding and strategies when providing services to this population.
