Cooper Family Dentist Delivers Junior Citizens Police Academy Graduation Speech

Jacksonville, AR, July 27, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Dr. Jordan Cooper, owner of Cooper Family Dentistry, with locations throughout Central Arkansas, delivered a graduation speech at the Jacksonville Police Department’s Junior Citizens Police Academy (JCPA) graduation on June 17. The graduation honored students who completed the five-day academy, from June 13 to June 17, designed for those between the ages of 14 and 19-years-old.
The JCPA is a free, informative course which educates participants on the different aspects of law enforcement including: community policing, criminal investigations, patrol duties, use of force, firearms, K-9 duties, SRT demonstration, narcotics and more. The goal is to increase support of police officers and to encourage community participation and productivity among youth.
The mission of JCPA is to increase youth awareness and confidence, improve youth relations and to create a better understanding between youth and the Jacksonville Police Department through education and having fun while learning, according to the Jacksonville Police Department.
