Community Reactions New 2012 MCF BOD, Hand Selected By Timberstone Homes
Online, January 26, 2012 (Newswire.com) - The 2012 Board of Directors election is over. What was suppose to be an election turned into an assignment of Directors by Todd Warshauer of Timberstone Homes. Todd utilized 136 votes to assign each of the new board members their position. That's right, he used Timberstones allotted votes plus a number of proxy votes to give each of the top five finishers 136 votes each courtesy of Todd. This was not an election in the true meaning of the word but rather an assignment of individuals who agree with Todd Warshauer's philosophy. If it were not for the votes assigned by Todd the Board of Directors would be entirely different for 2012.
Todd's alliance is with Timberstone and not in the best interest of the homeowners of Mill Creek Falls. His desire is to sell homes and move on to his next project. He works for Timberstone not Mill Creek Falls. His "Open Mind" with respect to all homeowner issues/concerns in the community, regardless of any personal opinions he or Timberstone have are based on "Market Driven Decisions" and not with the associations best interest in mind. He will never make a judgment call that best suits the residents; it will always be what is best for his employer and his career. No builder should be allowed to make the hard decisions necessary for our community. It is our community, we live here, not a builder that's only desire is to build and move on to the next community. If his interest was here he to would be a homeowner and resident of Mill Creek Falls but no, he chooses to live elsewhere.
Feel cheated Mill Creek Falls residents, as this election was preordained. Voting in a election is a honor and privilege of which you were robbed. Say welcome to the newly "assigned" Board of Directors. Let us now see how these pre-selected Timberstone candidates prioritize their focus - will they allow Timberstone to continue dumping garbage and brush in the back of the community, will they put back in place the Architectural Review Committee, required by our Covenants, Conditions & Restrictions (and have resident representation), will they protect our values over the profits of Timberstone? I hope I am wrong and they do not let any unspoken promises by Todd fog their vision on loyalty to their community.
