Fort Lauderdale, FL (Newswire) February 25th, 2011 - Comic Retreat, the leading yearly gathering of stand-up comic performers and entertainment industry professionals, has announced it will be held next year in Fort Lauderdale, January 9 -11th, 2012.
Comic Retreat is the comedy equivalent to what the Sundance Film Festival is to the Indy film industry: the premier showcase for emerging comics. Emerging comics focus on their careers at workshops, parties, showcases, and skill building conferences along with outdoor activities. The annual retreat allows attendees to gain priceless insights and sparks more industry relationships.
