Cold Brew Coffee Always on Tap Without Having to Remove and Strain the Wet Messy Grounds with Fridge Barista

Fridge Barista has launched a Kickstarter campaign at http://kck.st/1t61ysY to raise funds for mass production of a cold brew coffee maker that brews, serves and stores all in one place. 

Cold brewed or cold pressed coffee is any coffee made using water that never rises above room temperature and is an "artisanal" or "craft" component of the Third Wave of Coffee that can be served hot or cold.

Cold brewed coffee takes minutes to prepare, but takes 12-24 hours to “brew”. DIY methods are often prone to tipping over, left exposed to the elements and require hand straining through costly filters or cheesecloth. Current commercial products are expensive, complicated, and don’t produce enough coffee to justify the cost and hassle.

Fridge Barista utilizes an extra wide mouth stainless steel wire mesh filter and food grade plastic container. Even though Fridge Barista makes 72 ounces of cold brew coffee or concentrate, it is small enough to fit on most shelves in the refrigerator and doesn't take up valuable counter space like other products.

Out of the 100 million Americans that drink coffee daily in the US, 30 million consumers prefer specialty coffee, including cold brew coffee. Benefits of preparing coffee this way are several days of shelf life, sweet flavor, and low acid allowing many people's stomachs unable to tolerate drinking hot brewed coffee to finally have their cup of java.
