Code Akron Returns With Startup Q&A for Minority Professionals

Code Akron Kevin Lockett interviews Unbox Akron's Roger Riddle on targeting and growing your audience at the OSC Tech Lab on April 13th at 6PM.

 Code Akron, an organization created to connect diversity and technology in Akron, is excited to introduce its first event for minority professionals: Code Akron Q & A with DJ Roger Riddle, unapologetic music ninja and Chief Curator from "Unbox Akron." 

Hosted by Code Akron's Kevin Lockett, the theme of the evening will be "Targeting, Building, and Maintaining Your Audience," as Roger discusses his journey to Akron and the art of building and maintaining audience from the dance floor to the tech incubator. 

"Most of our events are geared towards youth," Kevin Lockett said. "But I also wanted to do more events to connect Akron's minority professionals with our growing startup scene and Roger Riddle is a great person to kick off phase two of Code Akron's tech diversity mission."

Code Akron Q&A is a free event will be held on Wednesday, April 13th 2016 from 6 PM-8 PM at the OSC Tech Lab, 12 E. Exchange St, second floor in downtown Akron, which is also home of event co-sponsor, the Launch League. 

This Code Akron event is specifically for professionals and college students.
