Coconu Founders Honor Mother's Battle With Cancer by Partnering With OCRA

SALT LAKE CITY, November 13, 2018 (Newswire.com) - Utah-based organic health and beauty company Coconu announced their pledge to donate a portion of product sales to the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance (OCRA), helping women in the fight against ovarian cancer. This partnership aligns with the company’s mission to bring health and happiness to women, increasing their capacity for intimacy, connection and confidence. By pledging donations to OCRA, they hope to raise awareness and funding for research to combat this devastating disease that affects the lives of so many women and their families.
OCRA is a non-profit organization dedicated to ovarian cancer research, education and advocacy to help save women's lives. Research shows that one in 79 women will be diagnosed with ovarian cancer in their lifetime. Due to a lack of early symptoms or detection screenings, these diagnoses typically occur when the disease is advanced. For this reason, it’s called the "silent killer" and is the fifth-deadliest form of cancer for women.
We believe the way to make progress against ovarian cancer is through supporting research in this area. Coconu chooses to give back by donating 10 percent of all purchases of our organic personal lubricants to OCRA, in honor of Kathy Warnick — a woman who gave tirelessly to her community.
