Cloudnine Hospital Inaugurates Bangalore's Only Private Sector Children's Hospital
Online, April 3, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Cloudnine Hospital has given Bangalore a much needed children's specialty hospitality equipped with state-of-the art equipment and highly qualified healthcare professionals.
With centers in Jayanagar, Old Airport Road and Malleshwaram, Cloudnine Hospitals is renowned for offering reliable woman and child care. Yesterday, the pioneers of child and maternal care in Bangalore inaugurated their first specialty Children's Hospital, which happens to be the only private sector Children's Hospital in the city.
With a built-up area of about 18,000 square feet spread across three floors, this new children's hospital has 42 beds, including the ones for emergency services. The hospital has a well-equipped infrastructure which includes a Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Operation Theater, Labor Delivery & Recovery (LDR), pharmacy, and suite rooms.
Another key element that makes Cloudnine Children's Hospital one-of-a-kind is its 24x7 emergency service, which was sorely missed by Bangaloreans requiring specialist childcare during the wee hours. With the inauguration of this hospital, Bangalore now has a healthcare facility for children that operates round the clock and is capable of handling all paediatric issues.
The new facility was inaugurated by Dr. Kishore Kumar, Chairman and MD, Cloudnine. Following is an excerpt from his transcript - "We understand that parents have come to expect higher standards of care. Since our passion is the healthcare, we couldn't ignore the health needs of children. Bangalore did not have a full-fledged children's specialty hospital from the private sector. I am sure that Cloudnine Children's Hospital will revolutionize paediatric healthcare in Bangalore."
Cloudnine Children's Hospital has been designed taking into consideration all aspects related to childcare. The facility has six consultation rooms, counseling rooms, a laboratory and also a cafe to ensure that parents, caregivers and visitors do not have to face any inconvenience.
When probed further, Dr. Kishore added "The hospital is scientifically designed and therefore caters to the specific requirements of children and their parents. In fact, it is on par with any children's hospital in a developed country. We follow the highest standards of medical practice in this hospital and offer reliable yet affordable healthcare services. Going forward, we intend to explore markets beyond Bangalore."
The inaugural event was attended by 80 children from Parikrma Humanity Foundation, a Bangalore-based NGO dedicated to providing formal education to children from underprivileged sections of society. The highlight of the day was an exciting performance by the Parikrma students. They charmed the crowd with their discipline and creativity.
