Clark Concepts And Michael Webb Combine Resources To Design Several New And Unique Products For NASCAR Branding
Online, January 4, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Jeff Clark, a twenty-year veteran and well respected member of the NASCAR family, working with such famous drivers as Dale Earnhardt Sr., Dale Earnhardt Jr., Rusty Wallace and Davey Allison, has formed a new company Clark Concepts that will focus on novelty and collector merchandise involving the sport of racing. Then Clark Concepts invited Michael Webb to come up with some new products that could be presented to teams for licensing. "After a half-day meeting and brainstorming session we had several new concepts on paper", Webb
Michael Webb (Mike) lives in Salisbury NC, which is just outside of Charlotte and in the backyard of NASCAR. Webb has designed products that have been involved with NCAA, NASCAR and the US Military. Including a new and potentially lifesaving product called TXRR or TXR2, which has been tested with the military and NASCAR pit crews.
The first product released by Clark Concepts is the Race Mouse, a wireless computer mouse that looks remarkably like a NASCAR COT car. "Designing this was a challenge, finding a scale that would fit the users hand for ergonomic comfort and not change the overall look of the car", said Webb. Previous version released by other companies look more like an actual computer mouse with a paint scheme and car number. Clark Concepts and Mike Webb have captured the look of the car down to the rear wing, which will lie down for added user comfort.
With drivers like Tony Stewart and Dale Earnhardt Jr. already onboard Race Mouse is currently available at Best Buy, Office Depot and NASCAR .com.
